Founded on Specialist Care and Compassion

TLC Fostering was founded with a clear and compassionate purpose to provide specialist fostering for children and young people with disabilities and complex medical needs.
At a time when this level of support was limited, TLC was created to fill a vital gap. From the very beginning, the focus has been on delivering care that is not only safe and nurturing, but truly tailored to each child’s individual needs.

A Specialist Beginning

Our story began with a vision to do things differently—to create a fostering service where children with additional and complex needs could receive the understanding, care and opportunities they deserve.

This specialist approach quickly became the foundation of TLC. By combining expert support with a deeply person-centred ethos, we have built a service that empowers foster parents to provide exceptional care, while ensuring children feel valued, supported and able to thrive.

Over time, this approach has helped shape the lives of hundreds of children and young people, giving them stability, confidence and the chance to reach their full potential.

Despite this growth, our core values have remained unchanged—placing children at the centre of everything we do, and ensuring foster parents feel supported every step of the way.
